For the last month, our staff of talented and dedicated workampers (who we’ll profile in the upcoming months) have poured their blood, sweat, and tears (well maybe not tears) into multiple projects. One of our most exciting is the newly reconfigured tent area.

After a full summer in 2017, we quickly realized that we wanted to offer a more open, luxurious tent camping option. We removed nine of the sites and reconfigured and resized those that remained. By adding all new cedar picnic tables and split rail fencing our guests can now enjoy more peaceful and open site plans. The allowed two tents and two cars per site easily fit while still offering lots of living space to enjoy the spectacular scenery of our setting on Wolf Lodge Bay.

Another big project was updating our lodge bathrooms. While fully functioning, they certainly were in need of a bit of sprucing up. Some fresh paint, additional hooks in the shower stalls, fun shower curtains, and a bit of color thrown in and our bathrooms are ready to welcome everyone for the season.

The store is nearly complete and will be open soon. We are using as many reclaimed items as possible, one excellent example is our new office signs created from the old tent area picnic tables along with burned wood rounds as our new cabin key chains.

New site signs appear all around camp featuring our logo as well as easy to see site numbers for ease of arrival.

The pool is in great shape and, weather dependent, will be open for Memorial Day weekend, and work continues to spruce up the camp kitchen with some herbs planted around the exterior along with updating the upper bathroom block.

Overall, continue to look for additional updates and fun projects appearing all over camp. We are filling up quickly so book now to start making your own camp memories for 2018!
