Memorial Day Fun~ A Great Kick-Off to an Amazing Season Ahead

Memorial Day, often the first really big weekend of the season is now one for the history books. Lucky for us, the camp was full of fabulous campers and happy families celebrating nearly perfect weather.

Our pedal boats and canoe were rarely at the dock.

The pool was open and busy with all ages enjoying fun in the sun.

Dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and colors were abundant. We always love being able to offer a dog-friendly environment, even in our cozy camping cabins. Camp Ambassador Aspen was exhausted from all the meeting & greeting and even snuck in a nap.

The newly updated bathrooms were a hit.

And even with the store not fully finished the ice and beverage sales were a hit. Shelving is going up this week and soon we will be better stocked for our guests. The new siding is going to be spectacular and encourage an overall lodge paint job.

With 5* reviews filing in, we congratulate our amazing camp staff for making it happen! Here are just a few of our reviews from the weekend:

*****Just finished a beautiful weekend at Camp CDA! What a wonderful place to stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the campground beautiful and clean, & the free pedal boats were a blast! We can’t wait to come back!

*****Upon arrival, we were greeted by a helpful and friendly camp host. The grounds are clean and the bathrooms/shower facilities are too. Free firewood!!  There are multiple camping options: cabins, large tenting lots for multiple tents, RV back-in and pull through sites. Pull through’s facilitate boat parking. There are no major issues with mosquitos which is surprising with the campground being on an inlet. Already booked our next trip for this summer. Camp C’DA is a gem 💙

*****This place is gorgeous. It’s very rustic but they want it that way. It harkens back to a 50’s Route 66 vibe. Small cabins and tent sites. About 30 or RV sites with full Hookups which we took advantage of. It’s lakefront Perfect for Sup or kayak. They have free, yes free paddle boats and free firewood. It’s well staffed by super nice people who helped us back in and get setup. This is a family oriented “camp”. There were lots of kids here and I can see why, I’d would have loved staying here as a kid.

Thanks to all of our great guests for making it happen. We hope to see all of you back again soon!
