Fresh Features Continue to Emerge at Camp

Summer is hopping here at Camp CDA and we can’t believe it’s already July! Happy guests continue to flock to camp to enjoy our amazing setting and continuing improvements. Here are just a few pics and reviews from the last month. Camp stickers are for sale in the camp store and are proving to be a popular memento of camp.

“I just wanted somewhere fun to go for Memorial Day weekend & we found the perfect place!! The whole campsite was so nice & clean! I didn’t know that there would be actual bathrooms & showers so that was a nice surprise. Will definitely be back.”

The camp kitchen has continued to emerge as a popular gathering place and the addition of new cooktops and a border of herbs and flowers for guest use has proved a highlight.

“This is one of the best campgrounds I’ve stayed in. Free firewood, free hot showers, free paddle boats and canoe, beautiful surroundings, very friendly and accommodating staff. It’s a little close to the highway, so not wilderness, but beautiful nonetheless. Just a short drive to several miles of hiking trails. I already want to come back next year!”

Our new entrance sign welcomes everyone to camp.

“First time we stayed. Hidden away yet just a few minutes from the freeway. They offered more than we expected. Free paddle boats, firewood, showers and more. We’ll be back every time we go through Northern Idaho!”

The pool is busier than ever with young and old alike.

“This gorgeous camp is nestled just off of 90 but I cannot hear the traffic from the camp. Their bathrooms and shower are clean and have practically endless hot water. Their pool was a bit chilly but my kids didn’t seem to mind at all! I love that they have free firewood, paddle boats and canoes for campers to use, and a Death Star fire pit near the office! I’d love to see it in action! Honestly, if we weren’t traveling from Oregon to Indiana, we’d have stayed more than just one night. We will definitely be returning!”

We are experiencing a busy and festive July 4th holiday with a few of our guests delighting the entire camp with their matching attire.

“Thank you for such an amazing place to camp. This place by far is my number 1 place of all time now. We will be making the 8hr trip once a year. Perfect location close enough to town but far enough out. Thank you for letting my wife Katie and I spend our honeymoon with you.”

But by far our most popular addition to camp is the Death Star
