How far are you from Silverwood Amusement Park?
We are 29 miles from Silverwood. About a 30-45 minute drive depending on summer traffic.
How far are you from downtown Coeur d'Alene?
We are 7 miles from the main exit of Coeur d’Alene and it is a 10-15 minute drive.
Can you hike nearby?
Yes, there are state hiking trails near us, and we have hiking trails throughout the campground.
What is the closest restaurant?
Wolfe Lodge Steakhouse is less than 5 minutes away from our campground and a plethora in Coeur d’Alene.
Do you have a boat launch?
There is no hunting on the campground, but there is public hunting ground nearby.
How close is the nearest grocery store/gas station?
10-15 minutes to Coeur d’Alene.

Do I pay per person or do you have a family rate?
You pay per site. For more details on pricing go to one of our Campsites and Cabins pages.
Do you have tent camping?
Yes, we have a tent area with about 45 tent spots. click here
How many tents per site?
Do we need bedding for the cabins?
Yes. You need to provide your own linens for the cabin rentals.
Camp/tenting in the forest?
Our setting is tucked into a mountain side, so there are plenty of trees to make you feel like you are in the forest. We currently do not have spots throughout the forest.
What should we bring??
If you are tenting.

How modern are your facilities?
The campground has been around since 1967, so some of the features are dated but we are currently remodeling one project at a time.
Do you have a pool?
Yes, we have a heated outdoor pool, which is currently closed for repairs. Please call for updates. click here
Can we bring our own firewood?
Yes, you may bring your own firewood, but why would you? We provide the firewood and it is free!
Do you have showers?
Yes, we have two separate shower/bathroom houses that have no extra charge.
Do you have a laundry room?

Yes, we have free WiFi throughout the whole campground!
Do you have group areas?
Yes, we have group pavilions throughout the campground and plenty of other places for groups to gather.
Do you allow pets?
We love to meet your pets but have a few ground rules.
- Pets must be kept on a leash
- Clean up after your pet
- Pets can’t be left alone in the campground!
- We welcome pets at no extra fee

Do you have tour guides?
We do not have tour guides, but we would be glad to show you were to go or lead you in the direction of places who do guides
What if we get lost?
If you get lost, call 208-664-4471 and we will get you to the right place!
Is this a National Park?
No we are not a national or state park.
Where are you, exactly?
We are just east outside of Coeur d’Alene off I-90 Exit 22. We are in the Wolf Lodge Bay Area.
What are your most popular seasons?
We are open May 1-October 31. Our Busy season is throughout the summer.
Eagle spotting during Salmon spawning season is a yearly nature phenomenon.
Hunting season is busy for our cabins.
Can I use my KOA membership?
We are not a KOA, but we do give military, Good Sam, etc… discounts.
Can I bring fireworks for the kids?
You may bring non-aerial common fireworks, such as: spinners, fountains, sparklers, or snakes. Large aerial fireworks are not allowed.
Can we fish at the campground?
Yes–fishing is allowed! For the laws, check the Idaho Fishing Regulations.
Do you have quiet hours?
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. We just ask you to be respectful of the others in the campground.
Are you on the water?
Yes, we are on the water and have water access into Lake Coeur d’Alene. click here

What's the recommended length of stay for kids?
With plenty of activities for kids, and plenty to do around the area there is no designated length of time for kids. Some will be content a few days, some will fall in love and never want to leave.
