How close is the nearest hospital?

15 minutes.

How far are you from Silverwood Amusement Park?

We are 29 miles from Silverwood. About a 30-45 minute drive depending on summer traffic.

How far are you from downtown Coeur d'Alene?

We are 7 miles from the main exit of Coeur d’Alene and it is a 10-15 minute drive.

Can you hike nearby?

We have several trails available directly from camp and the popular Mineral Ridge Trailhead is only 2 miles from camp. In addition, there are numerous hiking trails within a short drive of camp.

What is the closest restaurant?

Wolfe Lodge Steakhouse is less than 5 minutes away from our campground and a plethora of choices just 10 minutes away in Coeur d’Alene.

Do you have a boat launch?

There is a state boat launch a half mile from the campground.

Do I pay per person or do you have a family rate?

Do you have tent camping?

We do offer tent site camping in addition to our RV sites and rustic cabins. click here

How many tents per site?

We allow two tents per site.

Do we need bedding for the cabins?

Yes. You will need to provide your own linens for the cabin rentals.

Camp/tenting in the forest?

Our forested setting offers plenty of trees for shade and the tent sites are set in a grassy area closest to Wolf Lodge Bay. We do not offer spots throughout the forest.

How modern are your facilities?

The campground has been around since 1967, so some of the features are still being updated. Remodeling is in process and new changes occur frequently.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, we have a heated outdoor pool. click here

Can we bring our own firewood?

Yes, you may bring your own firewood, but why would you? We provide the firewood and it is free!

Do you have showers?

Yes, we have two separate shower/bathroom houses that have no extra charge.

Do you have a laundry room?

Yes, we do offer a laundry room. The cost is $2.50 per wash load and $1.50 to dry.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, we have free WiFi throughout the whole campground!

Do you have group areas?

No, we do not have any areas specific to groups. However, we offer a camp kitchen and covered pavilion in the tenting area where groups can gather at will.

Do you allow pets?

We love to meet your pets but have a few ground rules.

  • Pets must be kept on a leash
  • Clean up after your pet
  • Pets can’t be left alone in the campground!
  • We welcome pets at no extra fee

General Campground Questions

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 1 pm.

Check-out is 11 am.

Do you offer seasonal rates?

We do! We offer discounted rates for the spring and fall season. Please call 208-664-4471 for details.

Do you have quiet hours?

The campground quiet hours are 10pm-7am

What is your cancel policy?

We require full payment at time of booking but do offer a very lenient cancel policy. You can cancel your reservation up to 48 hours prior to arrival for a full refund. Between 48-24 hours before prior to arrival, it is a 25% cancel penalty. Cancels or no-shows on the day of arrival are a 100% penalty.

What are your most popular seasons?

We are open May 1-October 31 with summer being our busiest season.

Can I use my KOA membership?

No, we are no longer a KOA, but we do give a 10% military, Good Sam, and AARP  discounts.

Can I bring fireworks for the kids?

Only non-aerial common fireworks, such as spinners, fountains, sparklers, or snakes. Large aerial fireworks are not allowed, nor are “mortar” types of fireworks.

Can we fish at the campground?

Yes–fishing is allowed! For the laws, check the Idaho Fishing Regulations.

What are the hours for the pool?

The pool is open from 9 am- 8 pm.

Are you on the water?

Yes, we are located directly on the shores of Wolf Lodge Bay with water access into Lake Coeur d’Alene. click here

What is the maximum length of stay?

We have a two-week maximum stay.

What activities are available at camp?

On-site activities include fishing, swimming, biking, hiking, and playing on our playground equipment. Horseshoes are always popular, as are the complimentary use of our two pedal boats and one canoe.
