Memorial Day, often the first really big weekend of the season is now one for the history books. Lucky for us, the camp was full of fabulous campers and happy families celebrating nearly perfect weather.
We frequently tout our status as a “destination campground” but what does this really mean? With no Webster’s definition to be found, I offer you our opinion about how we feel here at Camp Coeur D’Alene.
Here at Camp Coeur D’Alene we love the fact that our campground is unique. So many campgrounds offer cookie-cutter sites and very little individual personality. Not so at Camp CDA!
For guests looking to do a bit of hiking, Camp Coeur D’Alene is a splendid location. Not only do we have a tough climb to the ridge above camp, but for an easier hike close to camp it doesn’t get much better than Mineral Ridge.
People who love their dogs LOVE their dogs. As an integral part of the family pack, fur babies can bring so much joy to our lives. Here at Camp Coeur D’Alene, one thing we strive for us to live up to our reputation as the “friendliest dog camping in the country”.
